How to Install 06.15.00 iPad baseband on iPhone 3G/3GS 

By now, I assume that you know the consequences of installing 6.15.00 on your iPhone 3G or 3GS. Make sure you check your iPhone's production year and week here before installing iPad baseband. If your iPhone 3GS 16 or 32 GB was made after week 35 of 2011 or a new 8GB iPhone 3GS made after week 28 of 2011, DONOT install this baseband as it will brick your device. iPhone 3G users can install this without worrying about anything.

So lets head over to the tutorial to flash/install 06.15.00 baseband on iPhone 3G/3GS.

Things you need:

• Sn0wbreeze
• Firmware IPSW file that you want on your iPhone. Download here. I will be using  iOS 4.2.1 for iPhone 3G in this tutorial.
• Internet connection

Once you have downloaded Sn0wbreeze, run it.

Click Browser for and IPSW and select the firmware ipsw file you downloaded for your iPhone. Once you select the file, sn0wbreeze will verify that file and will tell you if it is ok.

Click the blue arrow to proceed. On the next screen, choose Expert Mode and then Unlocks.

Check Install 06.15.00 iPad basenad and then select blue arrow to proceed. 

On the next screen, you will be asked to select boot or recovery logos, simply ignore this and keep clicking blue arrow until you get back to the Expert mode screen. Choose Build IPSW this time.

Sn0wbreeze is now building custom IPSW for your iPhone which includes baseband 6.15.00. Once it does, you will be asked to plug in your iPhone and follow the on-screen instructions to put your iPhone into pwned DFU mode.

Once in DFU mode, open up iTunes. It will detect your device into recovery mode. Now hold down SHIFT key and then click on Restore button. A pop up window will get open. Select the custom IPSW file that was build by snw0breeze which can be found on your desktop.

That's it. iTunes will now restore your device with iPad baseband in it. After that, you can use ultrasn0w to unlock your iPhone. Enjoy.

Hey guys, what’s up, all of are waiting for the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S iOS 6 Jailbreak by the Jailbreak Dream Team, Here’s a good news for the Jailbreak Community. In a recent tweet, iOS hacker @MuscleNerd, @Planetbeing and @Pod2g warned users saying that those still waiting for an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.

I’m very confident about the next 6 months. I honestly believe that iOS 6 will be jailbroken and that developers will keep coming up with more quality apps. Discussions about future tweaks during JailbreakCon have opened new doors. Creativity won’t stop.
Regarding future iOS versions, I don’t really know what to think. I believe Apple will make it harder and harder to find and develop jailbreaks in a timely manner.
My message to Apple is the following: why not stop the fight and let users install unsigned applications, just like it is possible on OS X? It could be done the right way to let people install tweaks while making sure piracy is limited.

Como Mudar o Logo da Operadora do seu iPhone ou iPad sem fazer o Jailbreaking

 

Estas são instruções de como mudar o logotipo da sua operadora (ex: Vodafone, TMN, Optimus; Zon; CTT; Uzo; Moche; Yorn etc.) sem ser necessário realizar o jailbreake usando o CarrierEditor para Mac.

*Nota Importante: Isto apenas funciona com Operadoras que utilizem uma imagem como Logotipo (ex.  AT&T). Não resulta para aquelas que usam texto para Logotipo (ex. Sprint).

Passo Um
Faça o Download do CarrierEditor daqui  (Mac) e guarde na Secretária (desktop).
 

Passo Dois
Navegue até à Secretária e faça duplo clique com o rato para montar o CarrierEditor dmg.


Passo Três
Copie e largue o CarrierEditor na pasta Applications folder.


Passo Quatro
Duplo click  no CarrierEditor.


Passo Cinco
Assim que a Aplicação estiver aberta click no butão Let's Get Started.


Passo Seis
Será-lhe pedido que coloque o número da versão da operadora. 

Passo Sete
Abra as Opções (Settings) do seu ecrãn principal (SpringBoard) no seu iPhone ou iPad e escolha Geral(General) dos items da sua lista de menu.


Clique em  Sobre (About) do menu Geral (General) e localize o número da operadora (Carrier Version Number). O número está depois do nome -  ex. AT&T 13.0


Coloque o número (Carrier Version Number) no CarrierEditor e click Next.


Passo Oito
Esolha o deu Dispositivo (Device) e Operadora (Carrier) da caixa de selecção e clique em Next para continuar.


Passo Nove
Arraste em suas imagens de logotipo novas para a operadora. Há uma para quando a barra de status é pretoa e outra para quando a barra de status é cinza claro. Os logos devem ter de tamanho máximo 60x20 ou 120x40 para Monitores retina. Eles devem estar no formato PNG com fundo transparente. ou seja. carrierlogo.png ou carrierlogo@2x.png para dispositivos Retina.
Se não tem logotipos próprios , pode encontrar alguns no DMG que criámos e colocá-mos na pasta ZeppelinLogos.

Clique em Compile Carrier Update (.ipcc).

Passo Dez
Será informado da gravação de segurança do update ao logo da Operadora na sua secretária (Desktop) e de uma cópia do logo original, para poder reverter o processo.

Passo Onze
Abra o ITunes através da  dock.

Passo Doze
Ligue o seu dispositivo ao computador e seleccione o mesmo da barra de navegação e no topo direito, e da barra lateral esquerda se está a usar a visualizaçao antiga do iTunes.

Passo Treze
Tenha a certeza que está no Summary tab e clique na Option key e clique Update.

Passo Catorze
Navegue atá à Secretária e seleccione o ficheiro .ipcc novo que acabámos de criar e clique em Open.

Passo Quinze
Uma vez actualizadas as opções o novo logo deverá aparecer no dispositivo. Se não surgir faça reiniciar (reboot) no seu iPhone ou iPad.
